While I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado, I don’t provide clinical therapy in my UAP-centered role. This is due to state regulations that dictate a therapist must hold a license in the state where his client resides. To offer nationwide service, a therapist would have to gain fifty licenses. I serve clients as a consultant. Though clinical therapy and diagnoses and such aren't offered, what I do offer is supportive conversation, UAP expertise, and astute guidance. If I have a suspicion you're suffering from a mental illness, that should be addressed outside our relationship.
Meetings are a space where you can discuss anything you'd like in a judgement-free zone. You might share your UAP experience, learn more about UAPs and forthcoming disclosure, learn skills to navigate our complex world, design a life centered on your personal values, or just plain vent. You can discuss anything. Your fears, disappointments, aspirations, desires, frustrations, and victories. As I like to say, "If you bring it up during a meeting, it's probably important."
I meet with clients Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Each meeting starts at the top of the hour and lasts one hour. Meetings are held via secure video calls.
Reach out to me via the Contact page. While traditional therapy requires clients and therapists to complete intakes, treatment plans, assessments with diagnoses, releases of information, and insurance submissions, Outcome Counseling requires no paperwork. This operation is streamlined to keep operating costs low and to ensure your anonymity.
Each meeting is $50, and payments are due at the end of each meeting. By comparison, the average 50-minute therapy session in the U.S. costs $150. The average 60-minute life coaching meeting costs $165. I keep rates as low as possible while still keeping the lights on.
While Erik is a licensed clinical social worker, the services provided through Outcome Counseling aren't clinical in nature and don't substitute clinical diagnosis and treatment.
